The Brantford Youth Disc Golf League which plays in Brantford on Thursday evenings will be presenting a yearly award titled: The Dušan Nedelko “Spirit of the Game” Award, September 9, 2010.
This award will go to the player who shows the most sportsmanship, who encourages other players to become better, and promotes the sport of disc golf to their friends and community.
Bryce Hill explains:
This all came about because Dušan and I were chatting after the Fall Classic at his place about how great it would be to have kids leagues all over and get more kids into the sport.
So I am working hard to have his dream and mine become a reality. I’m hoping that this youth league will become a model for other communities and clubs in Ontario.
